Buongiorno! We are pleased to announce that Casali di Casole is open and accepting reservations. As we welcome guests, and staff back to our property, their wellbeing and safety is our greatest responsibility and priority.

In order to protect our staff and guests, face masks are mandatory indoors and outdoors when social distancing is not possible, especially when interacting with our staff. 

Please note that in order to use amenities at Belmond Castello di Casole hotel, guests will need to show their green pass certificate at the hotel front desk before accessing amenities.

A Green Pass is Required to Stay at Casali di Casole from January 10 - March 31, 2022:

A valid EU Digital COVID Certificate (‘Green Pass’) is required for all guests ages 12 and above to stay at Casali di Casole. An EU Digital COVID Certificate is a digital proof that a person has:

  • received at least one dose of the vaccine against COVID-19
  • recovered from COVID-19 in the past six months

The Italian Government has reinforced requirements for travellers visiting Italy. Please visit this website to ensure you're up to date with the latest requirements for testing. 

ONCE IN ITALY

With the Decree on Nov 24th a “Green Pass” or EU Digital Covid Certificate, or equivalent certificate recognized by the Italian Authorities is compulsory for any person aged 12 and above also wishing to:

  • Stay in hotels
  • Use sport centers’ changing rooms
  • Boarding on regional and inter-regional trains  
  • Boarding on local means of transportation

 

The validity of the Green Pass has also been reduced from 12 to 9 months.

Most importantly, starting from December 6th  - a re-enforced Green Pass will be granted only to all people above 12 years old:

  • who have received at least one dose of vaccine 
  • or who have recovered from COVID-19 in the previous six months. 

 

This re-enforced certificate will be required to access the following activities: 

  • Shows 
  • Indoor dining services 
  • Parties
  • Public ceremonies

 

Therefore all persons above 12 years old who did not receive a vaccine or have not recovered from Covid in the previous 6 months will be unable to access those activities with a swab as before.

 

IMPORTANT: THIS INCLUDES THE HOTEL BELMOND CASTELLO DI CASOLE WHICH REQUIRES THE GREEN PASS TO ACCESS FITNESS, SPA AND RESTUARANTS AND BAR INDOORS.

Return Travel to USA

Starting December 6, all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before travel to the United States. Our concierge team is available to assist with the booking of your test prior departure. We strongly recommend to book the test in advance.

With health and safety in mind, we have developed comprehensive sanitation and physical distancing protocols. We will continue to adhere to the information recommended by government authorities and health organizations.

Cleaning and Housekeeping Protocols

We have immediately implemented the following enhanced cleaning protocols across our property:

  • Use of hospital-grade disinfectant on all hard surfaces in guest rooms, residences, and public areas
  • Increased cleaning of staff and public areas including but not limited to offices, door handles, guest bathrooms, railings, room keys and all back of house
  • Housekeeping services are performed pursuant to Italian Government and Health Office guidelines, and your concierge will provide further details prior to your arrival
  • Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer available throughout the resort and upon request
  • Appointment of a Hygiene Inspector at the property to help maintain all hygiene standards
  • Housekeeping services will only be available if guests are not in the residence at the time of service

Guest Experience

  • Guests will be asked to respect social distancing guidelines and wear face masks while in contact with resort staff
  • Check-in time is 5 pm to accommodate enhanced cleaning procedures. Check-out time remains at 10 am
  • Remote, contactless check-in
  • Residence keys disinfected prior to arrival
  • Porter and transportation services via partner companies will be modified and communicated ahead of your arrival
  • Fresh linens, towels, coffee, and other items available on demand to be delivered to front door daily if you decide not to have housekeeping service
  • PPE and other supplies provided in residences
  • Resort Staff will not enter guest rooms or residences while occupied unless upon emergency

Cancellation Policy

  • To confirm a reservation, we require a 30% deposit at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancelling the reservation within the 60 days will forfeit the entire deposit. If the cancellation is outside the 60 days, the deposit less a 500EUR processing fee will be refunded.
