Buongiorno! We are pleased to announce that Casali di Casole is open and accepting reservations. As we welcome guests, and staff back to our property, their wellbeing and safety is our greatest responsibility and priority.

In order to protect our staff and guests, face masks are mandatory indoors and outdoors when social distancing is not possible, especially when interacting with our staff. 

Please note that in order to use amenities at Belmond Castello di Casole hotel, guests will need to show their green pass certificate at the hotel front desk before accessing amenities.

Following the Ordinance of August 28th 2021 from Minister of Health, valid until October 25th, entries to Italy are allowed from Canada, Japan and the United States under the following circumstances: 

  • Fill in the Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy
  • Showing a negative PCR or antigen test result, obtained within 72 hours prior the flight
  • Possessing a Green Pass (or Vaccine Certificate) of your own Country of origin, showing proof that you have either:

- been vaccinated against COVID-19 with an EMA authorized vaccine and you have completed the prescribed vaccination cycle since at least fourteen (14) days; 

- recovered from COVID-19 and you are no longer under prescription of self-isolation. 

You can enter Italy without having to self-isolate and get tested after self-isolating. 

 

“Passengers of “Covid-tested” flights, as defined by the Minister of Health with Order of November 23 2020. For further information on “Covid-tested” flights, kindly contact your airline.

Falling in this case and following the instructions of your airline to be able to board on these flights you are allowed to travel to Italy and not self-isolate upon arrival. 

 

Travelers from the United Kingdom are required to:

1. fill in the Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy

2. present on arrival a negative certificate for a rapid molecular or antigen test performed in the 48 hours prior to entering Italy

3. Possessing a Green Pass (or Vaccine Certificate) of your own Country of origin, showing proof that you have either:

- been vaccinated against COVID-19 with an EMA authorized vaccine and you have completed the prescribed vaccination cycle since at least fourteen (14) days; 

- recovered from COVID-19 and you are no longer under prescription of self-isolation. 

 

#2. Mandatory for every traveler to enter Italy is the registration on the Passenger Locator Form platform. 

Before entering Italy, passengers are required to complete a specific digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF).

ONCE IN ITALY

As of September 1st, 2021, everyone over the age of 12 must present a COVID-19 digital green certificate to access certain services and activities. The Italian Green Pass (or Green Certificate) requests that you show proof that you have either:

been vaccinated against COVID-19 with an EMA authorized vaccine and you have completed the prescribed vaccination cycle since at least fourteen (14) days; 

received a negative result of a molecular or antigenic test carried out in the 48 hours before your arrival; 

recovered from COVID-19 and you are no longer under prescription of self-isolation. 

 

The Green pass is requested to access the following services:

  • Restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors and pastry shops for consumption at table indoors
  • Performances open to the public, sporting events, both outdoors and indoors
  • Museums and places of culture, shows
  • Swimming pools and gyms
  • Private parties, such as wedding receptions
  • Festivals and trade fairs
  • Conventions and congresses
  • Spas and fitness centers
  • Gaming halls and betting shops, bingo halls and casinos
  • Airplanes
  • Boats and ferries
  • High speed trains of any kind 
  • Inter-regional buses and rental buses with private driver (Bigger than 9 passenger vans)

 

IMPORTANT: THIS INCLUDES THE HOTEL BELMOND CASTELLO DI CASOLE WHICH REQUIRES THE GREEN PASS TO ACCESS FITNESS, SPA AND RESTUARANTS AND BAR INDOORS.

 

Access to these services and activities is allowed on presenting the EU Digital COVID Certificate or an equivalent certificate issued by the health authorities of Canada, Japan, Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States.

With health and safety in mind, we have developed comprehensive sanitation and physical distancing protocols. We will continue to adhere to the information recommended by government authorities and health organizations.

Cleaning and Housekeeping Protocols

We have immediately implemented the following enhanced cleaning protocols across our property:

  • Use of hospital-grade disinfectant on all hard surfaces in guest rooms, residences, and public areas
  • Increased cleaning of staff and public areas including but not limited to offices, door handles, guest bathrooms, railings, room keys and all back of house
  • Housekeeping services are performed pursuant to Italian Government and Health Office guidelines, and your concierge will provide further details prior to your arrival
  • Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer available throughout the resort and upon request
  • Appointment of a Hygiene Inspector at the property to help maintain all hygiene standards
  • Housekeeping services will only be available if guests are not in the residence at the time of service

Guest Experience

  • Guests will be asked to respect social distancing guidelines and wear face masks while in contact with resort staff
  • Check-in time is 5 pm to accommodate enhanced cleaning procedures. Check-out time remains at 10 am
  • Remote, contactless check-in
  • Residence keys disinfected prior to arrival
  • Porter and transportation services via partner companies will be modified and communicated ahead of your arrival
  • Fresh linens, towels, coffee, and other items available on demand to be delivered to front door daily if you decide not to have housekeeping service
  • PPE and other supplies provided in residences
  • Resort Staff will not enter guest rooms or residences while occupied unless upon emergency

Cancellation Policy

  • To confirm a reservation, we require a 30% deposit at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancelling the reservation within the 60 days will forfeit the entire deposit. If the cancellation is outside the 60 days, the deposit less a 500EUR processing fee will be refunded.
