Buongiorno! We are pleased to announce that Casali di Casole is open and accepting reservations. As we welcome guests, and staff back to our property, their wellbeing and safety is our greatest responsibility and priority.

As of June 21, U.S. travelers can now enter Italy as long as they are vaccinated for COVID-19, have recovered from COVID, or present a negative COVID test result.

Before entering Italy, from any country of origin and for any travel reason, the digital European Passenger Locator Form (dPLF) must be compiled.

Travelers from EU countries, the Schengen areaIsraelCanadaJapan and the United States can enter Italy without any quarantine obligation, provided that:

1. They fill in the Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy

2. They present on arrival a COVID-19 Green Pass issued by the Health Authorities their home country, certifying:

  • complete vaccination against COVID-19 performed at least 14 days beforehand
  • recovery from COVID-19 and the termination of medical isolation
  • negative result for a rapid molecular or antigenic test performed in the 48 hours prior to entry into Italy

Green Passes must be in Italian, English, French or Spanish and can be presented in digital or printed formats.

The COVID-19 Green Pass is also mandatory for movements from and to regions that may be classified in "red" or "orange" zones and may also be requested for attendance at public events.

Travelers who have stayed in the United Kingdom in the 14 days prior to entering Italy must present a negative certificate for a molecular or antigenic test performed within 48 hours prior to entry into Italy and undergo fiduciary isolation and health surveillance for 5 days. At the end of the isolation period, they will have to perform a new molecular or antigen test.

Travelers from all other countries may be required to:

  • fill in the Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy
  • present a negative result for a molecular or antigenic swab taken no more than 72 hours prior to entry into Italy
  • notify arrival to the Prevention Department of the Local Health Authority (toll-free numbers and regional information)
  • reach the final destination in Italy only by private means of transport
  • undergo fiduciary isolation and health surveillance for 10 days
  • at the end of the 10-day isolation, take an additional molecular or antigenic swab

Travelers arriving from some non-EU countries can enter Italy without undergoing fiduciary isolation and health surveillance provided they use COVID-tested flights (refer to the specific section).

EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE

The EU Digital COVID Certificate allows all travelers to move freely within the European Union and the Schengen area and will be operative in all EU member states as of 1 July. 

AS OF 28 JUNE 2021, ALL OF ITALY WILL BE IN THE "WHITE" ZONE

The only rules that still have to be observed are: maintain a safe distance and avoid crowds.

It will no longer mandatory to wear masks outdoors, but you must always carry one with you and wear it if it is not possible to maintain the safety distance.
Masks must still be worn in indoor public places such as bars, restaurants, museums and public transport.

The obligation to wear masks and maintain a safety distance of 1 meter still apply.

Bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors and pastry shops are open. They must display a sign indicating the maximum number of people allowed inside simultaneously.

 

With health and safety in mind, we have developed comprehensive sanitation and physical distancing protocols. We will continue to adhere to the information recommended by government authorities and health organizations.

Cleaning and Housekeeping Protocols

We have immediately implemented the following enhanced cleaning protocols across our property:

  • Use of hospital-grade disinfectant on all hard surfaces in guest rooms, residences, and public areas
  • Increased cleaning of staff and public areas including but not limited to offices, door handles, guest bathrooms, railings, room keys and all back of house
  • 24-hour minimum rest period between departure and next arrival for all residences
  • Housekeeping services are performed pursuant to Italian Government and Health Office guidelines, and your concierge will provide further details prior to your arrival
  • Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer available throughout the resort and upon request
  • Appointment of a Hygiene Inspector at the property to help maintain all hygiene standards
  • Housekeeping services will only be available if guests are not in the residence at the time of service

Guest Experience

  • Guests will be asked to respect social distancing guidelines and wear face masks while in contact with resort staff
  • Check-in time is 5 pm to accommodate enhanced cleaning procedures. Check-out time remains at 10 am
  • Remote, contactless check-in
  • Residence keys disinfected prior to arrival
  • Porter and transportation services via partner companies will be modified and communicated ahead of your arrival
  • Fresh linens, towels, coffee, and other items available on demand to be delivered to front door daily if you decide not to have housekeeping service
  • PPE and other supplies provided in residences
  • Resort Staff will not enter guest rooms or residences while occupied unless upon emergency

Cancellation Policy

  • To confirm a reservation, we require a 30% deposit at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancelling the reservation within the 60 days will forfeit the entire deposit. If the cancellation is outside the 60 days, the deposit less a 500EUR processing fee will be refunded.
